Home Rule Charter for Bee Cave

Bee Cave just established a commission for a home rule charter.  Area growth has highlighted the need to put in place a home rule charter.  Voting on this charter will take place during the next election cycle.  The Home Rule Charter Commission approved the draft City Charter (HERE) on Monday evening and the Council unanimously accepted it last night. Next step is placing it on the ballot in May for voter approval.

Dripping Springs Sees Continued Growth

According to the Austin Business Journal;

Construction has started on a new covered recreational arena in Dripping Springs Ranch Park on RM 12. The first phase, expected to last through the summer, includes building the 165,000-square-foot facility.

Dripping Springs is just a few miles further west; once you’re there you’ll feel as though you are worlds away from the City- yet still within 15 mins. of the Hill Country Galleria in Bee Caves which is seeing continued growth and welcoming new merchants monthly.  If you’re a horse lover, be sure to check out Dripping Springs.  Even Cheryl Crow’s horse was trained in this lovely City.
